SoNa Sahakian (1996) is a visual artist based in The Hague who graduated with a degree in Fine Art from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Her practice spans the intersections of painting, drawing, collage, photography, installation and video art. In recent years, she has taken part in numerous international group exhibitions and art projects.
Her work centres on an exploration of time, memory and the inner layers of human existence. In her art, the past and the present are not separate concepts, but intertwined experiences that give rise to new meanings. For him, remembrance is not a look back, but a continuous transformation: an internal process that shapes our identity time and again.
