Cultural bridge between Hungary and Italy
Silent Renaissance (Rinascimento Silenzioso) is an international curatorial initiative of CoolturArt™, which explores the intersection of Hungarian folk art, Italian cultural heritage and contemporary creative thinking.
The project is a collaboration between the Friends of Rijeka Association and CoolturArt™, in a joint effort to strengthen cultural relations between Hungary and Italy and to reinterpret their historical and artistic heritage in a contemporary way.
Dialogue between past and present
The initiative aims to build a cultural bridge between Hungary and Italy, while creating a new dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation, heritage and contemporary art.
The project will show how cultural heritage can be a source of inspiration for today's creators through art exhibitions, cultural events, traditional programmes and international cooperation.
A shared vision
Participants include artists, traditional communities, young performers and cultural partners. Their common goal is to create value-creating relationships that will strengthen Hungarian-Italian cultural cooperation in the long term.
The Silent Renaissance is not just an art project, but a shared cultural vision: proof that the values of the past can create new connections and a vision for the future through the creative power of the present.

His works add a strong symbolic content and depth of thought to the concept of the exhibition.
Tímea Csanády-Jakab's painting creates a lyrical and intuitive visual world that reflects the emotional and spiritual layers of contemporary painting.
His works emphasise rhythm, ornamentation and visual movement, which are also linked to the decorative traditions of folk art and the Renaissance.
Renáta Bóta-Rudas' work brings a contemporary graphic sensibility to the project, interpreting symbolic and feminine themes in a modern visual language.
In addition to contemporary artists, the Beregi Cross-stitch Association is an authentic representative of the Hungarian folk art tradition, which combines the living cultural heritage of handcrafted ornamentation with contemporary artistic thinking.
